Call of Duty 4 is another excellent first person shooter that is played on both the Xbox 360 and personnel computer and one of the older games played in MLG. The Call of Duty franchise has been very popular in the past and the release of Call of Duty 4 was possibly their biggest achievement to date. One of the big reasons of Call of Duty’s popularity is its online play as is important for any successful first person shooter.

Call of Duty 4 breaks free from the typical Call of Duty game in the aspect that it is based upon modern warfare instead of the previous games which were all based around World War II. MLG is not a huge outlook for Call of Duty 4 because of the success of other first person shooters such as Halo 3 and Rainbow Six Vegas 2. More recently Call of Duty shipped their newest game Call of Duty World at War and it has also become a MLG game that supports professional gaming.
